I've seen several standard Remington 722 rifles and currently even own one in 222. What I rarely ever see are the 722D peerless and supreme versions of the 722. How rare were these rifles?? I found a 722D in 222 at a local store and am thinking about snagging it simply because I've never seen a factory engraved "deluxe" version 722. And of course it's in the greatest vintage varmint caliber in existence, the 222. It has a few issues, but nothing a little TLC couldn't help.
