I had 2 of these during my Hi Power Silhouette days Bedded with load development and 2 oz triggers they were half minute rifles. I also had 2 in .308 but I like the 7s better and they were both a bit more accurate than the 308s.I also burnt a couple in .223 out shooting offhand matches, running deer matches, groundhogs, and hunting deer. All I owned shoot well. Had a buddy who bought one in 22/250. After doing everything we knew it was a 2.5 inch gun on a good day. He sent it back to Rem who returned it saying it was within their specs. That was the start of my disillusionment with Remington along with them never chambering it in 6br.Just wondering how rare these rifles are in 7-08, anyone own one? I seen one online for sale.
That's a beauty Gary, sadly I only wound up with a glass stocked one in 22-250, shoots good though and I do like the 26" barrel they came with. I always wondered why Remington kept the wooden stocked versions at 24"Here’s mine in 22-250

Absolutely! Would have loved that, especially if it was a single shot. Would have been a working man's 40x.That was the start of my disillusionment with Remington along with them never chambering it in 6br.
