Remington 40XB

I purchased a new Remington 40XB in 1968 (SS bl, cal 7mm Rem Mag).
Never got around to attaching sights and never fired it.

No longer shooting so tried to find value by looking at Gunbroker.com, Armslist.com,etc. Could not find anything comparable.

I found out that new ones with synthetic stock are selling for around $2600.
Can someone please give me a rough idea what mine is now worth?

Thanks

Search GB by typing in "Remington 40" then filter by bolt action rifle. There is a handful of older 40X rifles on. Watch them for bids and closing auction prices. That should give you a fairly close idea. My advice would be "whatever the market will bear" or "whatever someone is willing to pay".

I PAID $1100 FOR A 40XBBR IN 6BR IT'S A 1982 MOD 2 YRS AGO.I SAW THEM FROM $1100 TO $1700
