Finding fair gun values

Have not done any shooting in many years and have several guns that I am interested in selling, including an unfired Remington 40XB (cal 7mm rem mag).
Best way to find fair asking prices?

You can buy the Blue Book of Gun Values for about $40 but I have found their values to be very questionable.

Go to www.gunbroker.com and locate similar firearms, see what they are bringing. You can join and sell at that site for a small fee - usually $25 - $50. You need to read the fee arrangement.
