Remain vigilant - Don't let up

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/03/19/reid-cuts-assault-weapons-ban-from-senate-gun-control-bill-amid-waning-support/

A little good news...

It looks like a political move to try and pass it when no one is looking. We will see.

Very political. By splitting it up, the moderate democrats in fear of reelection can vote for the package but vote no on the assault ban. Makes them look only half as gun friendly....

Just what I was thinking when I read it. Bite size pieces...

Clearly a political move. This administration needs to disarm us to realize his real goals. If an outright ban doesn't work they'll move to the pocket book as in taxation for some unrealistic reason. It has been rumored for years if they can't get our weapons they'll do ammo like gasoline and cigarettes; just tax them to oblivion. I quit smoking but stockpile food and ammo.

Gov purchase has driven the cost up in the near term and made much new unavailable. Buying salvage military brass before this onslaught was $2-3 per pound. Auction results from Dec $8-9 per pound Feb $10-9; we'll see what Mar brings?
