Summary:
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Democrats in Congress are quietly pushing a mammoth gun control bill that would, among other things, ban “assault weapons,” mandate a license to purchase a firearm and ammunition, prohibit private firearm transfers, and effectively destroy the firearms industry.

The bill was introduced in the House in January by Georgia Democrat Rep. Hank Johnson (HR 5717) and in the Senate in February by Massachusetts Democrat Elizabeth Warren (SB 3254).

Maybe I'm missing it, but I don't see anything in there on gun ownership rights. You're talking about the "Agriculture Disaster Loan Origination Program Act"?

It's just another bill that does nothing to address the mental health issues in this country that are the root cause of mass murder and gun violence.

I wasn't going to touch this topic till I had something relevant to say on the subject , so my wife and I read both versions of the Bills and discussed them during our research . She had two comments that cover the whole issue better than anything I could write , in the enraged state of mind I was in after reading this totalitarian drivel .

She said : "Won't this go to the Supreme Court , even if the Congress passes it , and the President would sign it" ? "Which I have no doubt Trump never would".....! "Which part of ; "Shall not be Infringed" don't these single digit I.Q. morons NOT understand" ? My wife is a gun owner and takes her range time seriously , shooting 2-300 rounds a month with her Glock 43 , 9mm ....That pretty well covers it . And she keeps reminding me why I married her thirty years ago with these kinds of thoughts . Lucky Me ....
