Assault weapons ban dropped from gun control bill

Harry Reid has dropped the assault weapons ban from the gun control bill, so there you have it. I hope everyone, for now just calms down a little. The fight is NOT over and will NEVER be over but for now this is a big win for us.

Right, it's not a win yet. It can still be added as an attachment and I think they had this plan all along to look like they were willing to make compromises. Keep your eyes and ears open kids.

Ban will never pass the House - the real danger is at the State Level but w/o federal backing these laws can be challenged in court by the NRA.
