Rem 700 not extracting??

Good afternoon, All. Looking for some guidance on what is probably obvious to you guys. So, I have a long action Rem 700 that had a mag bolt face. Bought a new bolt body with standard bolt face. I had a new 6.5-284 barrel installed. Switched out the firing pin assembly, and plunger from the original bolt to the new standard bolt body. In the pic, the left bolt face is the mag. The right bolt face us the new standard with the plunger installed. But the new bolt does not extract the cases?? What am I doing wrong here?
Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.
Michael

First of all, thank you for responding. I assume this is the extractor that you're referring to on the mag bolt? I've not done much work with 700 bolts.

I was able to drive out the retaining pin that held the mag extractor in. Can this be reused in the new bolt? I don't see a hole in the perimeter of the standard bolt where a new one would be installed.

I may have answered my own question. There is a recess in the standard bolt face that looks to be where a new extractor would go, but no hole for a retaining pin. My guess is that the standard bolt uses some type of snap-in extractor.

Carlsbad is a great choice. Does not get you to the range today, but will make it 100% better in the long run and well worth the asking price.

Once again, guys, thank you much for all the help. God bless you all and I wish you and all of yours a safe and happy New Year.

They are a little tricky to install without bending and ruining them. Hard to describe but you rotate them in starting with the cutout in the rim in the bolt. I ease them in holding with a small pair of needle nose pliers sometimes using a sharp pick to help guide them.

BTW PTG had them in stock awhile back for something like $15 $18.35. I called to verify they were in stock. Took about 3 weeks after placing the order to arrive though.

In your first pictures it looks as though the .473 spring type extractor is not fully rotated into position. Remove the ejector, properly index the extractor , then re install the ejector. I use a bamboo chopstick sharpened in a pencil sharpener. No way to scratch the bolt that way. If you slip with metal tools you can knacker the bolt face.
