Rem 700 Long action

What do you think about a 700 long action for a 6dasher build?
The reason i ask is i have a 700 long action sitting here and have a burning desire for a 6dasher.
wonder if it would feed them. I would try the 8 twist..with 105's..

I'm not familiar with the dasher but we build .243win's on long actions all the time without any problems. Like I said I'm not familiar with the dasher it may be a completely different ball game. Brian Brown.

Thanks fullersson.. I dont see why it would not work. Ah just thinking. really, i have two rifles that i could just put a barrel on and be shooting. I need to atleast order a reamer..

I just built a dasher on a LA. I put a single shot floor plate and run a coned Kiff bolt in it. I don't have any problems with it and I like the extra area for bedding. Don't know about a repeater having issues? I have a couple SA's and LA's and don't have a preference for either one except I can usually pick up a LA for less $.
