Rem 700 Extractor

Anyone know where I can find a Remington 700 extractor for 308 bolt face? Mine is the rivet less style. At least somewhere besides ebay at $75 a piece. I believe mine is damaged and flops around with little spring pressure. If I can't locate one at a reasonable price I am strongly considering sending the bolt to Chad at LRI fo m16 extractor and dual ejectors. Any thoughts?

Remove the extractor by carefully rotating it clockwise while lifting it out. Gently bend it wider and reinstall by reversing the proceedure. I have fixed a bunch by doing this. M16 extractor is a fix, dual ejectors is a waste.
I did try that actually. I bent the extractor outward. For the first 1 or 2 tries works great then its like the spring is gone and the extractor is all loose again.

I "might" have one stashed. Out and about awhile today, so give me a PM shout tomorrow if you haven't scored one.

Although I like the m700 there are a lot of things that I think they could've improved and the extractor is the first one. I am aware of the three rings argument.

Been reading about that a lot. I however do not try to run "hot" loads. I always stick to well known data. I realize though somethings things just happen.

Did all this again. I've removed and reinstalled this thing probably 20 times at this point. I hate to speak to early but I believe I have the issue fixed. Somehow there was a bur on the inside of the groove in the bolt not allowing the extractor to come back to position. Also found another bur on the extractor lip itself. Cleaned and polished these areas. Kicks the 458 socoms at 3 o clock every time. Still wouldn't mind having a couple replacement as I have several 700s.
