Measure for spacing needs. You need it on the sturdiest part of the bench, but if using a single stage press, then allow enough space for the handle to go full stroke.

My plans are using a bedroom and three walls in that bedroom. One full wall (10') and 4' off that wall on two sides. Seems to be plenty of room. The press will be on the track as well even tho I won't move it. Gives me that option. Thinking about putting another track in mid bench for accessory items ( trimmer, scale, neck turn lathe etc). Be a good winter project.

You might want to look at this page too. https://inlinefabrication.com/ I use the plate and mount on top of the bench, not routered into the bench. Three presses can be changed out in about 5 minutes or less.
