Reloading bench chair

I must be the exception to the current crop of posters.

I can't sit to work whether machining, assembling, fitting or reloading. I stand and always have. No need for any stools or chairs.

Same here! I have a stool, but I could never get comfortable working from a seated position, so it's never used unless I stop to take an occasional break.

I built my loading bench 41 inches high , which will accommodate my body conformation while sitting or standing. I use a couple of old padded bar stools that my brother-in-law gave to me last century. Being "bar" stools, I'm right at home in my little cubby hole performing either reloading, watching TV, or drinking;):D!

I use an industrial concoction called a "sit-stand". Several manufacturers with different designs. It is kind of a lean to for your butt. Probably 60-40 weight distribution between your butt-legs. Knees are slightly bent, maintaining balance. Kind of like standing but without all the weight on your lower body & back, easy to stand and reach for something. Kind of like sitting but thighs & knees not in the way of levers.
I have been using in my shop for 15-20 years. Do not have the name of the one I use in front of me.

Globalindustrial.com
Model WGB272014

This is primitive looking compared to some others. I tried out several here and at trade shows. This is the one that seemed to work best for me all around in front of machines, tig welding, assembly.....and reloading.

All my benches are at a height that works for me 37-40”. I do have a stool I can lean against. Rarely use it now as I make sure and keep a chunk of the foam rubber floor mat to stand on. Even with good shoes it makes standing on a concrete floor a whole lot better.
