Reloading 350 Legend for subsonic?

Hodgdon has published load data for 350 Legend loaded for subsonic using the same projectile and 6 different powders. The projectile they use is a Hornady 250 grain subsonic. Shooters World has data for lighter projectiles (125 to 158 grain) but with powder that is no longer in production (Buffalo Rifle).

I would like to reload 350 Legend with light grain projectiles for subsonic speeds. How can I safely go about that with the limited data available? If I substituted the Hornady 250 grain projectile for a much lighter grain projectile, how would one adjust the powder charge to compensate for the difference?

Why? Seems like a 9mm would be a better option
I agree...I would be substituting the 350 Legend projectiles with 9mm projectiles loaded to 350 Legend cases. There are a few 350 Legend projectiles with similar grain weight to 9mm and 350L will accept bullet diameters from .355" to .357", and I wouldn't be sending them faster velocities than they are rated for.

Trailboss works great and is very accurate in my bolt gun. Cfeblk is good too. Sending light 9mm HP bullets subsonic thru a bolt gun repeater is so much fun and works very good, better than the 300blk in my experience

Trail Boss is gone. I've heard that Titegroup is a good substitute for subsonic reloads though.

I shoot a lot of 127gr TC (9mm bullets) out of my bolt 350 legend. I bought it for all the 357 pistol bullets I have but quickly found that semi wadcutters don’t chamber well in a bolt gun. The TC nose works great! Just about any fast to medium pistol powder works well. I’ve used Bullseye, AutoComp and Unique but use BE-86 the most because I have an 8lb jug of it. Same burn rate as Unique but meters much better. (And I have more of it). Small pistol primers work very well.

I’ve safely used 38 special to 357 Maximum load data.

Try resizing it with .355 bullet die. Works like a charm
