Hodgdon has published load data for 350 Legend loaded for subsonic using the same projectile and 6 different powders. The projectile they use is a Hornady 250 grain subsonic. Shooters World has data for lighter projectiles (125 to 158 grain) but with powder that is no longer in production (Buffalo Rifle).
I would like to reload 350 Legend with light grain projectiles for subsonic speeds. How can I safely go about that with the limited data available? If I substituted the Hornady 250 grain projectile for a much lighter grain projectile, how would one adjust the powder charge to compensate for the difference?
