Reduced target questions

OMG I never said the ones we use were approved or anything of the such, just offering a target we shoot at for fun at 100 yards.

Success as a parent is the most rewarding experience one can ask for. Not to get off subject but I have found tracing inside and out of a fender washer to be my target of choice at 100 yrds. I use it for load work and learning tool for anyone I'm helping.

Could you just use mini palma targets 6 on one sheet 800,900,1000 yard reduced target for rimfire

Do you know the part numbers for those mini palma targets? The only issue with using the NRA smallbore 50 yard at 100 in the .308 F-T/R bullet puts such a large hole with respect to the rings. If you project a .308 hole at 100 yards out to 600 yards you would have a 1.848" hole... Going from the .308" hole back to 100 yards would be .0513" diameter. So, we really want something with the bull, 10 and 9 about .250" smaller than either the standard 1/2 moa X, 1 moa 10 and 2 moa 9 rings, right? The radius from the center to the outside of the real .308 is .154". We need to to "score" like a .025" radius bullet, so we move the rings in .129" a side or .258" diameter, right?
