Redding t7 <> forrester co-ax

I probably use the Rockchucker just as much for small tasks, but I like the T7 more and more. Very solid and repeatable. Setting dies and the time required is frustrating when you reload lots of different cartridges. Plus on handguns and lead you have to expand. Then reset all the dies and check them. I get anxious just thinking about it. Now on the T7 set it up once and have seven dies ready to rock and roll. I like a Dillon but my OCD wants me to look at the brass between every stage. And I have no need for 300-500 rounds an hour. A single stage suits me just fine. As for the Co-Ax I have no experience. I've read good things about them.

But, I am to point of buying extra turrets for the T7 I like it so much.

Redding makes a turret stacker as well. Comes complete with spacers so you can leave the dies in the turrets. Very handy for organizing multiple turrets set up with dies. Found my turret stacker on ebay for a very reasonable price.

Just remember to take the turret off slowly while keeping a good grip on it with downward force or the ball bearing used to lock the turret in each die position will fly off the spring and you'll be chasing your tail trying to find it ;)

Any one tried that Lyman turrent? Haven’t had much success locating a deal on a t7

Might be a good press but until Lyman's customer support attitude turns around I'm not buying anything from them. And this isn't about expecting free parts.

I don't know what press prices will do in the future but my Dillons have knocked out a pile over the last 25 years. The machines sell for as much today sometimes more than we paid for them new. Not bad for a lot of years of use.

It depends on the use, I have a Dillon, a Coax, and Rcbs. For accurate and straight loads, you can't beat the Forster. I don't like Sizing anything over a 22-250 on the Dillon because if you have a sticky case you can bend the shell plate. That's probably why many folks size before using their Dillon. I also dont get the concentricity on my dillon that i want. I am buying a Hornady lnl ap because it's a stronger machine for my larger calibers.
