How are the dented necks related to neck thickness? The necks could very well be quite uniform, they’re just dinged. Straighten them out and then get out your pin mic., that tells the story.I have seen Remington .223 brass with .009 neck thickness variations.
And since Redding puts an expander in their bushing dies they must know something about neck thickness variations.
I'm not criticizing competitive shooters with custom made rifles who use Lapua brass. What I'm saying is the average reloader with an off the shelf factory rifle with average brass does not need a bushing die.

You probably shouldnt go there so you can keep your sanity.I visit the High Road Forum where many members pick up range brass with mixed head stamps also buy the once fired brass then complain of accuracy and resizing inconsistencies.
