Yup Go For It . Tommy McAny issues running a Redding neck bushing in the Wilson die? It says they are interchangeable, but I just want to make sure before I order some.
Agree. I think Wilson bushings are more precise than Redding.Yep, will fit. However, I prefer Wilson bushings over Redding; the radius on the leading edge is a great feature and I find the I.D. more precise (as measured by pin gauges) than Redding.
Completely agree Bill. Good point. I measured a few of my redding bushings and found a few issues. Holes not the marked size and holes not centered. I've used RCBS and wilson and they were spot on. JMEAgree. I think Wilson bushings are more precise than Redding.
Must be really humid where you live . Bushings only come out of my Dies for wipe-down cleaning after a session . Never had a rust issue , but then I live in Phoenix , too . Average humidity here is around 16 - 18 %Wilson bushings are tapered, Redding are not. So you can flip Wilsons upside down and get .0005 more neck tension. Very handy unless you anneal every time.
Wilson dies are stainless steel. Redding are not. Bushings are not stainless. If you leave either bushing in a Redding die it WILL rust, especially if using a water based sizing lube.
