Sometimes it's not the answer, but the process that's educates those seeking knowledge that is most benificial.
I wish you guys a Merry Christmas. Hope I didn't hinder more then I helped.
Kevin, thank you. When someone tells me they move the shoulder back I ask: "HOW?" No one responds with "I do not know" "but I heard the guys at the pool hall talking about it so I am repeating what I heard". And no one considers new reloaders are impressionable. I start out by saying I find moving the shoulder back almost impossible; almost impossible because I can move the shoulder back without case body support but there is something about sizing a case reloaders on this forum do not understand; and it seems that makes bench resters wish they had never learned to read because they get angry.
What are they afraid of? I have bump presses, I can not bump a shoulder but reloaders on this forum have mastered the '.002" bump'. Again, I have bump presses, I also have non bump presses. Where did the word 'bump' come from? And why does Starrett insist on spelling gage g-a-g-e.
