I am trying to adjust a new Redding Type S FL sizing die so that my shell holder makes contact with the bottom of the die while only bumping the shoulder back .002". I got the .002" well enough, or the contact, but getting both with the tools I own is impossible. I am guessing that this is the reason Redding also sells the competition shell holder sets and the extra .002" increases in thickness of the shell holders is located between the base of the case and the top of the shell holder and is intended to close the gap that I have struggled to fill for the last hour. Some one please let me know if I am correct and if not point me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance,
Emmett
