redding body die w/ forster bump die?

I've been using a forster bump die to hit the shoulder and neck size my 6BR cases. The cases have become increasingly difficult to use in my Wilson seater, so I ordered a redding body die to FL size the case. I wanted to know if I could use it every firing to FL size the brass, and then follow it up with the forster bump die to size the neck. Would this system work, or should I try something different? I'm eventually going to get a Harrel's, but didn't want to do this until I had my own reamer.

Thanks in advance,
Bill

Bill: I saw the post a couple of days ago and figured someone would jump in and have a say, but I guess not.
I have a Forster Bushing Bump Die with different bushings that I can work both my 6BR and 22 BR.
I don't have to bump the shoulders because both of my chambers are set tight and the brass doesn't grow. After 5 or 6 firings I have to use my Redding body die because the cases swell enough to tighten up the bolt on closing. Both of my actions are Savage and both chambers are no turn necks. I use RCBS Compitition Seaters that I have set up for both the 22 and 6 BR cases.
Works like a champ. HTH, Mike.

I don't see why that wouldn't work for you. But if its just the Wilson seater that is getting tight and case chambers with out any problems for the price of the shipping you can send your Wilson die back to Wilson with three fired cases that are tight and they will fit the die to your cases.

Are the cases sticking in the seater die or is the issue that the effort to seat the bullets is getting very stiff ?

If it is the second issue then you need to anneal the cases. My 30BR cases were getting to be a bear to seat the bullets into. I felt like I needed to chamfer the necks everytime, even if I hadn't trimmed the length. I was also going to try a bigger bush. Instead I annealed the cases and the problem was solved.

Part 2. Send your Redding body die off to Jim Carstensen [ JLC Precision ] and have it converted to a bushing die for $35.00

Thanks for the help. The cases are starting to get slightly stuck in the Wilson seater. The bullets are still seating with ease. I figure the body die should solve this problem, but I don't want to over sive the brass either. I think I'm going to go ahead, break down and buy the Harrells. The wife will just have to be mad for a while... :D I guess some things are worth a night on the couch. If the Harrells doesn't fix the issue with the Wilson then I guess I'll send it off to have it opened up. Thanks again for all the good advise.
