Yes, but it depends too. I started out on some pretty bad service and it was still serviceable then. Since then, our local internet provider has really stepped up and we have some of the best service anywhere, right here in rural Kentucky. But like I said, it was serviceable but at times it did buffer a bit. I forget the numbers but most streaming services have a trial period, from a few hours to a month...or at least a deal on the first month to see if you like it or not.
Not sure how bad your connection is, but I've been streaming just fine out here in Qatar on a 5 Mbps connection.
At home, I have starlink for internet which has been great, it's just a little spendy at $90 a month. It's an absolute gamechanger for rural areas.

I watch games, not their programs, the only thing I want from Disney is ESPN to watch games.
I haven't tried fubo yet. There was some reason but I don't remember what it was. To me, the clear choices were hulu or youtube, though.

Yes, I need to add lighting to my home range so I can shoot at night instead of watching tv. As I said, I hate paying that bill every month for something that I don't really use that much but nice to have when I want to, though. I'd guess most of us feel the same but I bet the vast majority have tv too. If I wanna watch a game or actually watch the news, nothing wrong with that...even when neither goes my way. Lol!

It doesn't matter what you watch. If you are paying for the service, they are using that money against me, and I hope you (unless you like wokeness shoved down your throat).
See if you can get Starlink for internet then stream what ever service you want
I can commend you for not wanting to support the other side in that regard. I do it too, more than most and it's good that you do as well. I do what I can but I'm gonna watch tv of some kind and I don't want or need to be condemned on here for it, though. I'm sure you buy only American made stuff too. It's tough to do anymore, sadly. I think we're on the same team. Nuff said. Is your phone or computer you're reading this on American made? If not, accept that we are on the same team and that we both do our part in our own ways. It can always be better and I agree it should be. Everything does not have to be an argument.
That’s it pretty much in a nutshell.
Even in these terribly trying times we have to have some sort of normalcy for a happy and healthy life.
