Recommendations WC 180c scope (AR platform)

Have a fixed power red dot Sight Mark scope on my WC180 currently and looking for something a bit different
I have a mild eye issue with my shooters eye and the red/green sight blurs; also looking to push out farther with a variable power scope. Any recommendations for a budget priced scope under the 500$ mark?
thanks! Happy New Year everyone

Get a nice small Vortex Viper PST Gen II 1-6x24 mm
This should do all you need for a AR im thinking.
They may be just a bit more than your budget these days...but a great option IMO

Burris sells some 1-4x and 1-6x that are solid for less than that. They work about like a red dot set at 1x, to, without blurring. The glass is good enough for 30 min after sunset in the wide open. And works out to 300 on steel. I'm speaking from experience with the mtac model.

I wonder if Amazon is still running the bargain sales on Styrka S7 1-6s. Nice scopes; but plan on no service. Easily within your budget.

You don't say what your goal is, are you looking to shoot target/varmints out to 300+ yards or is it more up close and personal? I have found the Bushnell Nitro 3-12x 44 works well out to 600 yards with my 6.5 Grendel, otherwise there are a number of 1-4 through 1-8x scopes available. You might be well served with the light gathering ability of the larger objectives. Look for an appropriate reticle also.

If your red dot appears to be “blooming” you may need to see your eye dr. Sounds like an astigmatism.
