Only if you have cell coverage. Can get a signal at Williamsport in the pits. Hard even near the benches.

Thanks for taking the time to read. I was about to purchase some radios for shooting/hunting/stalking and wanted to hear what some of you had to say. I'd like the option to attach headgear for hands free at times. 2-4 miles would be good enough range maybe a bit farther.

Commercial Motorola like the discontinued P110, Clear, good range, no static, programable. Many times you can buy them as used trade in from radio shops. I have used them for over 20 years. Battery will last 5-6 years.
