recommendation on neck turning tool

flexible

Silver $$ Contributor
Hi, everyone; flexible here.
Setting up my dies for the new rifle; a 7mm PRC. Started measuring the once fired Hornady brass for the sizing die bushings and can't believe the slew of numbers I got.
Used a ball mike and got numbers from 0.0168 to 0.0196.
To make sure it wasn't me I miked the Lapua 220 Russian I had fireformed to 6mm PPC - sample of 5 cases all 0.0084.
Since I don't see Lapua making 7mm PRC for a while I'll have to start neck turning
Does anyone have a favorite tool or setup?
thanks

I use a PMA model A and Model B on my .266 neck 6br. I have a couple of Sinclair tools for .223 and 6.5x47L. I only turn neck on these 2 if they get to much variation in the neck wall thickness. I like all 3 of the tools, but the PMA produces the best most consistent necks.

I also use the PMA. I like their tools and Pat is very responsive. A top shelf company to deal with.;)

Whichever neck turner you decide to get, get a case driver for your cordless drill also. PMA sells them for primer size, large or small.

My K&M works very well. You'll need to use K&M expanders with their neck turn tool or modify other brands. I believe Sinclair, PMA & 21st Century are interchangeable.

Bought a 21st Century neck turner around 2015/16, have added to it since, with the lathe setup (no Motor, I use a drill) and 3 way trimmer stuff for 4 calibers, and some different angle cutters. Works really well for me.

Got a response from James Kelby regarding the Pumpkin (it's no longer being made) BUT Bruno's Shooters Supply has a Pumpkin copy called the Blueberry - there is a wait list.
