I have seen a number of beautiful painted stocks on this site. Any recomendations on who you would use and examples of their work? Looking at painting an A5. Budget $500+/-

Obviously others out there just thought I would give a bump to maybe help someone out.

Here is another option, his name is Ronnie Milford and has been in the body shop business for almost 30 years. He has a $120,000.00 paint booth so is able to get it right the first time.
He has only been involved in BR shooting for a year or so and is trying to get started doing stock painting and clear coating. He specializes in candies but can paint anything and his work is absolutely flawless. The technique he has for the final clear coat he doesn't have to sand and buff to get it to look like a piece of glass. He is very reasonable on his prices and stands behind his work that if you are not happy he will do what it takes to get it right.
Unfortunately I only have a couple pictures of his work but if you need a reference contact Ronnie Long or Henry Rivers they have seen his work. I think most people know these 2 guys.
his contact info. is milfordbodyshop@hotmail.com or 706-384-3424.

The first 2 pictures are of a color called Molton Lava and the last ones are a Turkish Walnut he clear coated.

My buddy had a guy that paints custom choppers to paint his stock, he didn't want anything over the top, just metallic mint green with some skulls on it, looked awesome. 8)

There is a custom painter in Merrill, WI that needs to be concidered. He has done 5 stocks for me all custom House of Kolor Candies/Pearls/Marbelized. The last stock a Scoville that he did needed a little straightening with clear, it's perfect. Bob himself said it was a beautiful job done on the stock. His contact info is Dean Gille, 715-218-4530.

Kenny is presently doing work on a Shehane Tracker for me. As soon as I get the photos I'll post them up. Gorgeous freehand airbush work and affordable, too.
