Recent Multiple Sale of Benchsource Annealers

shoedo

Sambuca is underrated
Why are so many Benchsource annealers being offerred for sale on the forum? There have been at least five annealers sold on this forum in the past few months. I know they are one of the best annealers available. Any speculations?

Induction, plus the old way with a power screwdriver works almost as good for a fraction of the price.

I have a BenchSource and will probably sell it. I usually anneal 100 pieces at a time. By the time I set up my BenchSource, I am finished annealing with my power drill with a deep 11mm socket attached to a 2" extension.

Ive had mine for two years. Works just fine. But like everything else, there is always something bigger, stronger, faster, etc......

Well, I just bought a used one here. The seller was moving up to an AMP. I think that's what's going on.
I bought one because I wanted a new toy. And, as I progress into this " Accurate Shooting" hobby, I'm wanting to be more consistent in my annealing. The drill was getting a little old. Josh.

Its simple, new toys breed new toys. I have had the same one I bought 5 years ago and it isn't a benchsource but it works great. I will never sell to upgrade as I have done 1000's of cases for me and my friends.

I would love to have an "AMP", I am just looking the the $$$$$

Gotta wonder how long it'll be before Benchsource offers an Induction Unit themselves and at a lower price. Then you'll really see the propane models ups for sale.

I do not like the bench source nor the new amp. They defeat the purpose of having a machine. They dont have a hopper. You need to feed the machine. I love my annelez annealer. Cheap and easy. Load 50 rounds and let it run.

Newbie to reloading have some cases 308. thinking might be at the point that need annealing, some help with that about knowing when would be helpful. Three reloads on them getting ready for the fourth. They didn't seem as accurate as the first 2 rimes reloaded. Plus what is the old way? Was thinking about making one like you see on here. But would rather put my money in some new lapua cases and ditch the federal cases

Do a search on annealing, here. Must be 1000 posts on it. Plenty of tube videos, too. The old way for me was a socket on a drill and a propane torch in a dark closet. I am now out of the closet!

Where is the best place to purchase an "AMP" annealer? And of course the best price?

I am going to check them out.
