My NewCon 1500 that is at least 15 years old finally crapped out.
I need a new rangefinder. I carry it to range tree squirrels, and when I hunt groundhogs and PD. My shots are never over 800 yards on grondhogs and seldom even 400 on PD. I do not have a ton of cash so keep in mind I paid $300 for the NewCon back then, and don't want to pay a ton for a decent rangefinder. It doesn't have to have angle adjustments, etc etc. It just has to pick up a groundhog or nearby bush at 800, and tell me if a squirrel is 35 or 45 yards away in a tree top. I hunt with a PCP...need the drop to be right.
Suggestions?
