I know this is going to be a wide open question but I am looking for a smith to do a clean and reblue job, guy I used before has since retired and was looking for someone else.

Any suggestions? this is a small simple job I would think I already have the barreled action stripped of all parts and ready to ship

I think the brownells cataloge had a list of smiths including ones that did blueing. At least the old ones did.
With all of the stainless steel getting popular it may become a lost art. Teflon is also in vogue.

Do a Google search for [ Blue Ridge Blueing ] they're located in Nathalie, Virginia. I've used them recently and they did an excellent job at a fair price. I couldn't be happier with them.
