BSA Martini International- Need Trigger Group Disassembly Help

I have a Mk II that I bought to get the Unertl scope that came with it. The scope is all I hoped for but the rifle has a lot of exterior rust. Surprisingly the rifle shoots extremely well so I found a local gunsmith who will reblue the gun. The problem is what to do with the trigger group? The cocking lever and trigger guard need to be blued but I need to take the group apart before blueing the parts that need it. Can anyone help? I saw an old magazine article on this but now I can't find it.

I have a MKIII and have looked on the net for a long time for disassembly instructions with no luck. I have the same action diagrams as at the bottom of the site German recommended fo a MKIII. But they don't give an absolute clear picture and not the order to do which first. Mine has a very strong firing pin hit I would like to lighten. So if anybody finds instructions for a MKII or MKIII (yes, I know they have differences) I would greatly appreciate there being posted here also. Rich

I finally got what I needed. I bought three original pages from an old NRA disassembly guide for the Mk III. I'll try to scan a copy so I can send it to anyone who is interested.

Jerry, you may find that the tumbler broke, semi-common problem. Don't know of any sources of parts, maybe www.mtguns.com

Thanks German, It was shooting fine and then seemed to quit cocking. The trigger adjustment screw has no effect on it whatsoever. Jerry

These BSA actions collect a lot of crud. I have had trouble with mine because I keep the trigger weight as low as safely possible (6 oz or so). Flushing it out with aerosol oil and see if that helps before disassembly might save some work. I put a paper towel in a oil pan (for changing car oil) and then spray the heck out of it. Can't believe how much crude comes out on the paper towel. Seems to get full of the burnt primer particles. I never see that with a bolt gun.

I'm replying to a very old post from 5/13/2010 hoping that you are still around.
I would like the two pages of Trigger disassembly for the Martini Mk III rifle that you posted that day in a higher resolution, please. It was by Thomas E. Wesseland. I think it was from the American Rifleman November 1964.
