Rear bag recommendation

I am looking forward to my first season shooting F T/R. My Tikka .308 is mated to a GRS hydrid stock. I would appreciate your recommendation for a rear bag. The rear flat is appoximately 1" wide. Thanks for your input.IMG_3119.jpeg

I got the heavy fill and use vertically sometimes.

That's a pretty stock!

I have used Protektor for many years. They will make what you
want. My last bag they made for me is a flat top Dr. bag with
low ears and a 1.125 spacing. I had them fill it with heavy sand.
Cordura is the material for ears and groove on mine. You can
also get straight leather or their super slick silver material.

Plenty of solid options out there, Edgewood, Protektor, Dima and Lenzi are the ones I'd look close at. I own two Lenzi rear bags and a couple of Edgewoods. My own personal preference is Lenzi as they move around less than the Edgewoods.

Protector makes them to order. I would call them and let them know your setup and see what they suggest. Do you shoot off a bipod, does it have a joystick for adjustment on target? What is your adjustment range up front (how tall do you need it) & will you have to steer to your POA from the rear ( will you need to squeeze the bag?).......I don't need to know any of this, but it is some things to consider.........Cool Stock...

Merry Christmas
Rick

+1 for Protektor. I called and they were very helpful regarding a rear bag for a Savage F class stock. Mine is the flat top Dr. with slick ears. Virtually the same bag. I am pleased with it.
