RearBagStability

Concerning F-T/R and F-Open, looking for ways to improve rear bag stability, starting with an Edgewood mini-gator, and stay within the rules. Any ideas welcome. Seymour

Seymour:

Not sure if I understand the question completely.

Are you thinking of changing from another bag to a mini-gator? If so, I made the switch to a mini-gator handle bag last year and find it much more stable than my older lighter bag. It rocks much less if at all.

If you are currently using a mini-gator and are looking for more stability I don't know if I can help. If you are putting the bag on top of the padded part of your shooting mat, that may be a problem. I put mine directly on the ground or use a thin ground cover under it if the ground is wet. Perhaps try heavy sand if you aren't currently using it. Blasting sand is working fine for me. You could try using a board under it, just keep it no more than 2" larger than the bag to remain legal.

Good Luck.
