They can work too and people use them but I like the smaller poly pellets as i think they form better for me.

I have found the Triad bag (triadtactical.com) to be useful. 2 heights available in a relatively small package though I did have to add about1/2 cup of poly pellets to bring it to my preferred firmness. Buy the large size.

Here's a question....instead of any kind of a rear bag, what does everyone think about the use of a rear monopod? It would offer quite a bit more stability I would think. The matches I plan to shoot this summer will be stationary for the most part, no moving around required and will be shot prone.

monopod are less stable than a good bag

A Gamechanger Schmedium is probably the best and most universal bag a guy can have. I have several different bags and none of them come close to my Gamechangers. Ive never heard anyone say "I wish I would have never gotten this Gamechanger"!!!
