Pm sendingLooking for a decent 22 lr reamer. Suggestions? Anyone have something you would part with?
I've touched base on this a couple times so bare with me. Long range tactical type 22 is what I'm up to. Not benchrest. Thanks lee

Boyd , not wanting to cause any problems , but I've chambered and tested dozens of receiver types and a half dozen Reamers . Even with the win 52 reamer , I've never had a problem extracting a live round . Granted I only use bolt guns . The PTG Anschutz reamer is a little larger than the win 52 and I've not had any problems with either . ( unless I use the Russian steel cased stuff )Out of curiosity does this discipline require that a rifle be able to extract an unfired round? I ask because I'm primarily a Smallbore silhouette shooter and occasionally there is a need to extract an unfired round in the event of a cease fire.
My current reamer is the PTG Anschutz Match because it's supposed to allow me to extract an unfired round, but in reality not so much.
If that quality is a requirement a "sporting" chamber might be my choice. Both my factory Anschutz sporters do well with one.
I am thinking about holding 22LR F-Class matches.. i was thinking of 200 yards.. I am still looking at targets that can be used for thatI have a nice 300 yard range behind my machine shop. what i would like to do is hold a few rimfire matches here at my place. we would shoot steel targets at varying distances. Informal fun.
I have received lots of different suggestion here this evening . i appreciate all the support.
Centerfire is my thing, but this rimfire stuff is interesting. I think its going to be like anything else. Trial and error to learn the ropes. Lee

Visit some of the mid size machine shops often they have "drops". Metal cutouts from fabrication, various sizes and thickness scrap to them good for you.I am thinking about holding 22LR F-Class matches.. i was thinking of 200 yards.. I am still looking at targets that can be used for that
Not the kind of target that was thinking of..Visit some of the mid size machine shops often they have "drops". Metal cutouts from fabrication, various sizes and thickness scrap to them good for you.
