Reamer question - 6 creed (115 dtac)

Not smart of reamers…not sure what to search for with regards to freebore.

Question is, if I just use SAAMI specs, with throat erosion, if I need to switch to say 105’s down the road, they’re now jumping a mile, no?

I’ve got about 3k 115s stored up, so would like to get this throated specifically for the 115.

Any suggestions on freebore? Neck size also, with Lapua brass?

Make a couple dummy rounds ( No primers or powder) seat the bullets where you want them and send it to your favorite reamer maker. They will figure out what you need for FB Do you want a no turn neck or a turned neck? You want +.003 on neck diameter

A 0.120" freefore is what I use in my Dasher. I shoot the 115 DTACs primarily but also shoot the 105 and 115 Bergers. My best load ever was jumping the 115 DRACs somewhere around 120 thousandths. I shot 3-shot groups measuring less than an inch at 1k several times with it. The extra jump, if there is any isn't necessarily a problem and may surprise you.
