reamer freebore

I searched and still couldnt find a direct answer to my question. I am looking at different reamers and the Match reamers have quite a bit less free bore than just regular reamers. My question is why do the Match reamers have less freebore. Isnt more freebore good to be able to seat longer bullets? I apologize if this is a question with an easy answer. Thank you for any advice or replies.

I know one of the reasons the factories will put a long throat on their rifles to make sure that the possibility of a bullet getting jammed into the rifling is eliminated.

In this case with a match reamer the freebore is known and usually set up for a specific class of bullets.
