I am in the process of ordering a .22 x 47 L reamer and the only remaining detail is freebore length. I have a set of Rorschach carbide dies that make superb .22 bullets with a 7 tangent ogive and will use them for the first project with this reamer. I will order a separate throating reamer if I ever need to chamber a fast twist barrel for a longer bullet. I am thinking in the past I have used reamers with about .030 freebore for this bullet shape. Does anyone have any comments on this dimension other than what I have in mind?
