Made a note about your other post (#5) at 40.4 and have that marked for more testing. Being that this is a new powder I want to run it all out to see where the limits are and a possible higher node around 2700fps. My seating depth test is next to see what they like. What bullet would you try? I have run Sierra TMK's but don't get the groups I get with these, also have some Nosler 175gr RDF's but have not tried them yet as they are not to easy to come by locally. I like to shoot what I can get easily. If I may say this about that,
You are close with the 308, although 175 Nosler isn't my favorite bullet they will shoot.
40.4 gr will put you right at 2600 FPS then tinker with seating.try .020

My next test is loaded up and ready to go, 40.6 thru 42.0 in .2 steps. Going to get some wider cardboard and line up the target dots, never even thought about that. We'll see how this next round goes and I may retest the lower batch again at the .2 steps. Also ordered me a shooting flag to see if I can figure out how to use it to my advantage, reading and adjust for wind is still my biggest weakness. If you can go to 42.7, I'd load in .2 increments from 41 to 42.
As 40 fan suggested line you spots up in a row, you'll see the highs n lows better by drawing a line through your groups.
What you have now is shooting fairly well, 40.4 puts you right on a modest node,IMOMade a note about your other post (#5) at 40.4 and have that marked for more testing. Looking at that target it says "200 yards" at the top is that right? I was told to only do ladder tests at 300yds. I can still get on our 200yd range but the 300 is out of service for awhile.View attachment 1066838 I did this ladder test a couple years ago with 175 smk and Varget. This with Bullets on the lands, I went with 43.1 and tinkered with seating. Ended up around .015 jump
It doesn't get much easier than that..

Reading your ladder test how did you decide on 43.1 from those results? Curious as I may be doing it all wrong...
