What powder and Bullet combo do you prefer in your Creedmoor ??

Ruger American Predator 22" barrel
Rl26 47gr. Cci200 143eldx 2721 mv
Rl26 47.2 cci200 140 berger vld 2741mv.

Update: settled on a load of 37.5gr and went on with the seating depth test. Test was performed at 200yds and got some pretty interesting results I think. Already the loads are shooting better just getting an optimum charge that the gun seems to like.

.006 thousand jump is certainly good, zero vertical as well. From the information on the previous test we know that more powder stays horizontal and this depth is horizontal, I would say that's pretty darn good" if your rounds start going vertical confirm your depth again.
Just my .02 cents

My numbers across the 24 shots were, avg. velocity 2654 ES 32 SD 12.2 might be useless data as the velocity went up as the bullets got closer to the lands.

As Your load compresses the speed will increase
Anything vertical is bad Horizontal is good ;)

That’s very interesting, do you think there is another node in the other direction since you had 2 in the same hole at .021?
With my gun and these bullets (Nosler Custom Comp) the factory length is a .004 jam at 2.775 so anything I load with these is a going shorter than recommended. I might do some more testing with the Nosler RDF as it gives me way more "wiggle" room on the length. I went with these bullets because of the ease of availability in bulk. Nothing worse than working up a great load only to find out you cant get more of those bullets,.. biggest reason I don't use Berger, can't get them. Around here it seems to be Hornady and Nosler.
