RCC Brass

Someone over there, admittedly blames the customer “not knowing what they’re doing” first, when and if things don’t work out. For that reason, I’m out.

I suggested they start chambering barrels and making dies so there aren’t as many others to point fingers at.

I had them make me some in 300 wsm. First batch of test brass was 70 grains of volume. Norma is 78. Said I wanted more volume like Norma brass. Got it back and has small primer pockets. Sent it back got it fixed. Shot a few and wasn’t impressed. I have 50 new ones if someone wants to play with them. Saw this picture last week. Guy ordered 30/338 Lapua brass. Got these. Maybe it’s the customer fault,? but the neck shoulder junction wouldn’t change if you went off a saami reamer print.

That almost looks like two different rifle caliber cases. I'll have to stick to Lapua brass. I hope that did not cost you an arm and leg. R&D can be a real costly adventure in this sport.:)

I got to their website looking for something weird and looked a little. They seemed like they were very expensive. Some of the cases were 9 dollars each, i think it was 460 wea.

Different flavors of 6mm br brass....br Remington, br norma, and br Lapua.
All run +$4.00 each, ........ouch. I can't see paying $4.41 per piece, then turning the necks.

RCC has all sorts of buzz words and manufacturing terms to sell you brass at 4 times the price of the best brass going, and then blames you when they put the shoulder of 30/378 Lapua in the wrong place.

I’ll throw a contrary, good result post in.
They do a lot of obsolete or oddball cartridges and I know a a fair amount of people that have had great results. The difference may be that sending a chamber cast or drawing gets you custom made brass. A dimensional drawing is sent for your approval, more or less like ordering a reamer.

The ones I have came with a rifle and I have no idea how many times they have been fired and are holding up fine.

What are they and how many time have you fired them?

I didn't see anything from RCC where they blamed a customer can you point if out?
I see where a customer commented that most shooters don't give the correct dimensions and that is always a problem.

It was over on Sniper’s Hide, and it wasn’t actually RCC. It was someone who was working with them. They way they were speaking at the time, I thought they were affiliated.
