RCBS Rebel press primer catcher

@The German, a member here makes great ones!
Thanks - I looked at the Rebel press, actually have one sitting here, and started working on a catcher for that one, it is just not ready yet. Buying from that guy mentioned above may be an option, I would not. He's is the worst copy-cat ever (even copied my domain name for the website to sell more) and I cannot even count how many people reached out to me to complain about his product quality - well, lack of... I'll of course post it here when I got my version ready.

Besides that, it is beyond me how RCBS could design such a crappy primer catcher option - they had the chance to make it better than in previous models and in my books royally screwed it up...

can you work on a case kicker also?

If you give me a heads up on the primer catcher situation I would appreciate it and that will totally change my opinion about the press. I started using the Area 419 and I’m loving it thus far but its not that much better than the Rebel honestly other than the primer catcher works like a champ and it looks bad arse lol. I use all high end dies as well so it’s not at all a money situation with me, it’s a functioning deal 100%.. I have pretty much every press that’s been made in the last 25 years so I’m pretty familiar with most everything out thr but I tell it like it is unfortunately.. I want to love the Rebel and that was my intention going into it but the primer situation was a joke.
FYI I’m not saying I’m all that either, I’m a rookie and amateur by the standards of a ton of guys in here so please don’t take my words as meaning that. I just use a ton of equipment and know the differences between most everything out thr.

High end or low end I’ll toss money into just about anything going to try it out first hand, unlike the “Ultimate Reloader“ on YouTube I’ll tell it like it is and not what they want to hear..
Well got the primer catcher and it works great, added 1/2” clear tubing into the 8lb powder jug and it is flawless! Magnets hold it on, simple to install, I’m hoping this is @The German s one, don’t like recommending someone over a member on here

:-) Thanks - it was not from me, but greatly appreciate the comment!!

By now, I got one though - not yet on the website, but works great and is quite easy to install.

I've started designing a 3D printed RCBS Rebel Primer Catcher. Several versions of them can be found on: https://archive.org/details/thingiverse
I've observed the one on Etsy but don't like the design.
Most of my designs slide up and down on the press bar, which works well.
Using plastic tubing to support it against the bottom the press didn't work until I enlarged the throat, as noted in the right hand model.

Thanks Cecil!!
Robert740, if you add some magnets to your design (I am using 8x5mm earth magnets), the catcher will stay in place without any problems. Mine looks like this:RCBS_Rebel.jpg

Interesting design! The fellow on Etsy had a similar design, but was having problems with the down tube cracking. How is your cross-sectional strength holding up? I tried using small magnets on an earlier design, but there must have been too much pull or the wrong magnets.

Never had a problem or heard about a problem from a customer. Nothing in that design is (as far as I know) a weak point - I rather invest into a sturdier design that requires a bit more plastic and costs a bit more, than trying to get the cheapest possible solution designed. Could be that it is not perfect, but again, nobody ever reached out to me to let me know and it works just fine on my personal Rebel.
