RCBS Rebel Press, Need some help

I purchased a RCBS Rebel Press to add to my reloading primarily for Bullet Tipping. Found a unit that looks brand new on Facebook for half what they are on Amazon.

Once I got it home I found that the Ram Pin was not retained. It looks like there are threads in the bottom of the Ram to retain it, but looking at the pin, it could also have a ball bearing for the pin to ride on and then a set screw to hold it all in place.

The problem is the manual parts breakdown doesn't show any real detail.

Does anyone have one of these and can you identify what retains the Ram Pin, Item 9 in the image?

I cannot but there are a few on here that like them hopefully they will come forward. I agree with you it’s a sorry diagram , I also agree it makes sense there’s a spring and detent ball probably missing as I wouldn’t think you would want just a bolt to bind it. I think the rock chucker has a c clip on each end of the pin , obviously not on this one though.

Reached out to RCBS Customer Service. They were extremely nice and are providing me with the missing parts free of charge as a one time courtesy.

I find that, at least for the companies I have interacted with in our sport, that they are amazing to work with. In this day of age, a real credit to the people and companies.

My compliments to all those companies and their employees in this industry.

RCBS has always had outstanding customer service. I hope that doesn’t change with the new ownership. Glad you got it resolved!
