RCBS chargemaster issues

I've had three but all were early units. They all worked great the whole time I had them and, contrary to what RCBS recommended, I never turned them off. One of them took a hit on the power supply. The RCBS guy told me they didn't have parts but sent me a link to the replacement part on Amazon. It was a $20 fix.
All are serving other shooters now and I use a V3 on a A&D.

early on i used a 12v deer feeder battery for the CM when away from home. then i got a much smaller 12v off of amazon. it runs the CM for about 4 days [ even if i leave it on all night one night]
it might be 20,000 ma. it is packed so i cant check it.

By battery power do you mean a UPS? Tks
No im talkin battery power only. Here is a thread where steve oak gathered the necessary plug and play parts. Lots of folks got these after that and they are nice.

They have deer feeder batteries?

Motorcycle or Lawn and Garden battery would work. Don't know what they run now, but I used to use a L&G battery to start my boats outboard; $40 or so at Home Depot.

I always kept both my CM1500s running off this battery. Also great to take to range for load development.
As mentioned earlier, calibrating at the beginning of each weighing session will help a ton.
