Range cart users, I need your opinions. (Pics added, FINALLY!!!)

Re: Range cart users, I need your opinions.

I've got a very nice pull behind golf cart. I need to look at it to see if I can mod it. ANyone got a picture of one of those fixed up?

Re: Range cart users, I need your opinions.

The deer cart market is very competitive and i see alot of options with it from a to z they even have motors on some and might be a way to pull a hill with a load for anyone that has trouble in that area. Im sure a thinking man can make a neat rig that pulls u up a hill if he puts his mind to it.

I bought this one used for $35.00, I see lots of possibilities. I like that it has large tires.

Yes indeed, a few ATV rifle racks, and you can carry a lot. I will try to see if I can take some pics of mine later today..

That would be great, I could definitely use some ideas for a re fit.
Most of these things fold up, to fit in the car trunk, but probably if you ad to much stuff to them for the sport it may hamper that function.

Re: Range cart users, I need your opinions.

I bought the jogging stroller at Academy Sports 2 years ago for $90 new. I am traveling this week but will be back home this afternoon and I will try to post more details and pictures. It's still a work in progress but so far it has been working fairly well. At the Nationals I had a tarp along for the ride to cover the whole thing when it rained. Some form of cover should be easy to fabricate.

The problem so far with the troller is that it is designed for a child and so the seat rides a little high. I would like to see if I could make it deeper. Also, one must not lose sight of the fact the stroller must fold.

The prototype is almost finished. Spent the day working out the bugs and putting it together. Have to finish the seat install, shine it up and post pics.

I got the one that Forum Boss suggests without any modifications. It carries all my F Class gear. I painted it green. Red was too much for me.

Done yet? Enquiring minds on idle is dangerous.. ;D

Re: Range cart users, I need your opinions.

As witnessed by a couple trusted people, (I don't want to post pics till it's done) the cart addresses every concern raised by members. It's light and strong, made of 6061 aircraft aluminum. The tray built under the seat is large enough for coolers and equipment, yet strong enough to support me standing on it (220lbs. if you must know). So plenty of strength for the rests, bags and anything else heavy. All to be secured with a bungee net and Velcro straps. There's enough room for multiple guns. An umbrella attachment. It folds up to fit in the car trunk and the wheels are removable. I think the seat idea and other features will be a surprise to see. Hopefully people will want me to make some for them.

You need to find a safe place for the rifle while you sit, I have dolly design like yours and made open top tube mounted on back side, with the wheels set further back for stability and ground clearance.

That's also the purpose of the bar that the shooting mat is resting on. Forgot to add that. Thanks.
