raising front sight height on revolver?

Have a Ruger blackhawk that shoots about 2-3 feet high @100yds so need to increase the front sight height. Do you know anyone that can do this or is it something I can do? Braze, weld(gas), solder or epoxy? Haven't done the calculations, but I know its going to take a bit of height added.
Thanks

Interesting, i was having a similar issue and replaced the rear blade and that solved it. With rear sight blades being replaceable, i may be inclined to suggest modifying that first.
