Quickloads Software question

I want to purchase the Quickloads software and run it on my Microsoft Surface 3 tablet. The tablet obviously does not have a CD drive. I can use an external USB drive to install the software, but if the CDs actually need to be in the drive in order to run the software that could be cumbersome.

Is there a way to install the Software onto a "jump / thumb drive" and install the software on the thumb drive and run it from there...instead of the CDs?

So I'm guessing I can install it on the Jump Drive and access it from there. As long as there isn't some goofy security lock on it or something. Being able to take my tablet to the range, and reload on site, while programming in chronograph and environmental data would be awesome.
