Quickload Optimal barrel timing calculator download

That link raised alarms with my computer security saying that "Dangerous URL's" were in use...
I clicked "ignore" and the second stage warning kicked in... Decided not to go there...! {:~/
I did copy out your posted copy so all is good... Also have booked marked the other Weatherby one as well as that is an interactive site and no "alarm bells" from my internet security!

Hi

Please can someone help me, Do you include your silencer in the barrel length?
or to rephrase, Does one add the silencer length to the barrel length?

24" plus the 4" = 28 inch for the OBT calculation.
I would think that anything you add to the barrel will affect the harmonic modality...
After all, that is the whole idea of a tuner added to the end of the barrel...
The additional mass of a suppressor would almost certainly affect the OBT calculations.
As I understand it, the chart calculations are for a barrel only and once a load is determined and decided on then one would add a tuner or some other sort of mass to the barrel..?
Any expert feed back out there?

New web based version that will handle negative Nodes. Just use - in front of desired Node.

Looks like this:

Enjoy!
Is this program incorporated in the Quick Load system or is this an independent program?
It seems to be using Quick Load's logo.
How is the "Node Value" determined? Just not sure how to operate the your program. Perhaps a bit of information on the site would help...
Is "Barrel Length" the usual bolt face to muzzle or actual length of the rifled portion of the barrel disregarding the chamber?
I ask as I have just today put my copy of QL on the computer but have yet to get into everything as yet.

Hi, I have programmed a web version of my OBT Tool. It will generate data, and you can save the output as a txt file on your pc or phone.

I've recently started looking into this OBT load development process. I have been reloading for years and have never tried this method. It looks very interesting. Unfortunately I`m not too savvy with computers and down loading processes. Is it possible that you might help me out if I give you the appropriate info needed for one rifle cartridge ? it`s a 6GT with 26" barrel finish with 1.00" Muzzle. Brass is Alpha OCD 6GT, powder H-4350 primer CCI-450 Bullet Berger 105gr VLD HUNTER COAL is 2.250". I'm not sure what other info is needed ? if you'd be willing to run the numbers for me I would greatly appreciate it. If it's too much trouble then I understand. Thank you
