Would someone please run these variables on QL for me.
Using H-414 and N-560 in a 28" 1/12 twist 30 cal tube 300WSM
Looking for load with as close to 100% burn effic using a 155 Lapua Scenar and a 175 Berger VLD. Looking for 3200 fps range. I know this takes a bit of time, but I sure would appreaciate the help.
I'm thinking maybe I am not getting accurate readings from my used PAL Chrony. I have been averaging 3205 fps with the 155's over 63.3 grns of H-414. Average of 3088 fps with the 175's over 60 grns of H-414 using the Chrony. My results at the range using JMB ballistic calcs are off by almoast a full 2-MOA low impact at 600 yds using the 155's and 175's. JMB calls for 9.7 moa elevation at 600 from a 100 yd zero on the 155's / actual adjustment is 11.5 moa. I have the identicle set of rings on both scopes. Warren Maxima Extra High. Zero cant on scope and I am testing off of a Caldwell BR rest with a built in level. Average altitude in Fl where I shoot is 13' above sea level
I had just switched scopes before the trip and zeroed at 100 once there. I put on the NF 12-42 x 56 I bought for the 7 wsm Chris Matthews is building me. I believe that both scopes are moa not inches, at least thats what the turret says. I even played around with the Temp and humidity by 10 degrees and 10 percent humid and still arrived with the same adjustments from JBM. All rounds were loaded .020 into the lands using a comparitor. The mirrage was fairly heavy from left to right,no tail winds. All shots were fairly horizontal with very little verticle, 94 degrees and 82 % humidity after a rain the night before. I have cleaned the lenses on the Chrony and have a good set up 12' from the muzzle. If I can get someone to run the numbers for me I can find the weak link, Chrono or other.
I would appreciate any thoughts and Data
Thanks, Scout1
