Questions about SAAMI chamber dimensions

Hi Everyone I've always heard about SAAMI chamber dimensions and that there are minimum and maximum SAAMI chamber dimensions. It's always been a little mysterious to me, so here are my questions for now.

Where can I get drawings of SAAMI chamber dimensions? Are these the dimensions in the loading manuals, and if so how do i know what the minimums and maximums are?

Are there different specs for the cartridge case that fits in a SAAMI chamber?

Okay this is a good start-- Thanks for your help KH

Basically the sammi chamber is loose enough to fit most any cartidge of the caliber to fit and shoot safe. As far as minimum spec,it just means tighter tolerances. You can go to the ptg site and probably field the question to the master of reamers. Ptg can give you the imfo you seek. You might google chamber reamers and see what comes up. Imfo& specs-sammi It came right up and has all the imfo you will need.

SAAMI has a web site, chamber prints are there. Loaded production cartridges have smaller dimentions. www.saami.org
