Tom,
I have measured my fall a couple of times, and it came with .200, and on Jerry's suggestion I flipped the bracket, and that increased it to .220. The pin is not fluted. As to the series, it is in the safe, but it was pretty early. It is a left bolt, right port, has a thread milled insert, with some intentional taper, tighter at the back. I agree with your thought that having enough fall is important. To get more, without excessive cock on close, I would have to have the cam notch cut deeper, and I have not identified a problem that would push me to look into that. I think that Farley has an adjustable bracket that looks interesting to me, for fine tuning the hand off.
